INTERNATIONAL FACETING CHALLENGE 2010
With IFC2008 now behind us, the IFC Committee is
working on the schedule for the next challenge,
IFC2010. The designs have been selected and
successfully test cut and the schedule is almost
finished.
The IFC2010 schedule will be issued in September
2008 to coincide with the Australian Facetors'
Guild annual seminar which is being held at
Yarraman in South East Queensland.
Three different designs have been selected and
entrants will be required to cut one of each as
specified in the schedule. This format will be
similar to that used in IFC2008 and earlier
challenges.
Any facetor who has not entered the
International Faceting Challenge before should
consider submitting an entry when the IFC2010
schedule is available. A qualifying standard
applies and details of this will be similar to
those used in earlier challenges. Everything you
need to know will be explained in the schedule.
